I have a 2001 xj sport 4x4, that used to have intermittent skim related problems, like starting and shutting off after 2 seconds which would sometimes fix itself and let me drive home. Well 3 weeks ago it became more permanent, and it would not run anymore, I tried everything from disconnecting the battery, to re flowing the antenna connections in the skim module itself, and being in Canada, there was no one locally that could do what lots of companies in the US were offering, which was resetting the Skim function in the pcm. My question is, who here has successfully replaced their pcm and at the same time removed the skim module before plugging in the new or remanufactured pcm?? My PCM is right now on its way to be reset in North Carolina.
