Default Bolt size to put 4.0 on a stand

Hey All,
I just bought a used block to start a stroker build and was wondering what size bolts I need to attach the engine to a stand. I could do some trail and error but if anyone knows that would save me a trip to the hardware store.

Thanks,
John

Big ones. Preferably grade 8.

SAE Grade 8 w/flat washers.

3/8"-16 for the lowers, 7/16"-14 for the uppers. Length? Measure the tubes, add the nominal diameter of the screw, then get the next higher whole quarter-inch if you're in between quarters.
