Default Body sheet metal

Is there a place that supplies body parts, like rocker panels, that people here use ?? Also, I need to remove the wood grain trim on the dash to work on getting the radio out. Does the trim just pop off ?

BILL

classic2current fabrication over near you in MI makes some pretty good replacement rockers and floorpans.

Bill. JCR offers these, http://www.jcroffroad.com/product/XJ/XJSL-CR.html, good solid cover. I've seen a few places on line that offer quarter panels not rocker panels. Some people on here just cut the rockers away and replace them with 2x4 or 2x6 heavy metal for rock sliders. Good luck and have fun.

The JCR Crusader Sliders require that you have good rockers to begin with. If your rockers are rotting you need to replace them and might be better off boxing them if you are looking to do sliders.

I just checked out classic2current, and their prices are less than half of other places I found today ! And they are not too far away from me !

Thanks for the info !

So, any advice on removing the wood-grain trim on my dash ? It looks like it may come off with a bit of prying.....

There are four hidden screws holding the dash bezel. 1 above the cigarette lighter, 1 above the headlight switch and 2 more above those. Then it'll pop off.
