Blue paint with black interior? what do you think?

Personally I think it looks ugly. The only ones I see doing this to there cars and truck are young kids that don't know any better and thinks it looks good.

I think the color combo sounds ok. (Useless .02 opinion, I'm aware). Possible "lady" translation: "While I don't give 2 [whatevers] what the inside of your ride looks like, I will murder you if some dumb paint/dye sets poorly/transfers and ruins MY swag!"
...at least that's why I'd steer the BF away from changing his interior that I otherwise couldnt care less about haha

With the color you plan on painting the exterior I would leave the interior alone looks better Gray to me. I personally have "Never" saw a home done material/upholstery/carpet spray job that looked worth a crap, have saw nice jobs done by the pro shops. If black to many dark colors and a lot more heat build-up also inside JMHO......But its your ***** do as you wish your the one that has to live with it.

Since this is an old thread and the others may be gone I will chime in.
I have used both 'plastic paint' and WalMart spray paint on interior parts and both have help up extremely well. The biggest thing is making sure to prep it properly.
Clean, Clean, Clean. And when you think it is clean... clean it again.
Use a good adhesion promoter.
I did not use a primer.
Then paint.
Let is sit for a couple of days before installing if you can. I did mine in the summer and once it was dry enough to move I moved it from the garage to the outside and let is sit in the sun for a couple of days.
Never once got a chip. And this was the entire dash, side panels and seat trim.
