Question blown head gasket.

So im pretty sure I have a blown head gasket. I am losing coolant and there is a slug build up in my coolant reservoir. Im in the process of ordering a new head gasket and a new valve cover gasket. Is there anything else I should replace while I have the heads off?

What year? If it's a 2000 or 2001 you might look into replacing the head as well.

I have a 1998 so the heads should be good.

Definitely check the head, it would be a shame to do that much work just to have to tear it down and do it over again.

Any cylinder head (or engine block for that matter) can crack. Pressure test the cooling system while still together, see where the coolant is going.
