Blower on but no air through vents??
My blower runs great but there is no air coming through the vents. when i switch it from defrost to floor ect. I can hear as if the doors are trying to switch but seems like its not working as good. My jeep was missing the vacuum ball which i thought was the problem but after getting a new vacuum ball i still have the same problem. any suggestions. The jeep when i bought it came with two ac/heat units. It seems like the guy before me had the same problem and put another one in. any help would be appreciated.

Take it out of the dash but leave it hooked up and just hanging then try it while wiggling the electrical connector on the back. They wear out and for some reason melt!! Not sure why but I had the same prob with my 95.

i was just out there for a half our i'll have the heat on high. any setting the blower is working. eventually it will heat up the cab but the air is just trickling out like there is a blockage somewhere. I'm thinking its a door stuck somewhere but don't know how to get to it or thinking maybe its a vacuum issue which i can't find any vacuum leaks in which i traced where all the vacuum lines are going and can't find any missing or disconnected cracked ect.

if it's manual then you are looking at a vacuum issue, it is very common for the connector on the back of the control head to leak. Very bad design, the line connector is fluted and many times will actually loosen up over time. The only other thing to check would be if you have a good vacuum at the control head. If you don't then the line from the vacuum ball to the control head is off or broken.

By any chance did you take the blower motor out and see if it is going the right way? If someone changed the motor and did not look carefully before putting it in as to which way it is turning , why you ask, because some manufacturers wiring the motor wrong. I have seen this many times (napa) If it is running backwards it will make a muffled sound and you will have little to no air flow, check it out. If it is wrong cut the wires and reverse the polarity and your good to go.
