Block Test Positive; Now What?
Hello all. First post here, and hoping to get some advice. I've got a 2000 Cherokee sport with 190,000 miles on it. Had some overheating issues in the past due to a leaky radiator. I've replaced the radiator and hoses, but still losing coolant. Did block test today that gave me green fluid which is positive for a leak. My question is, how should I go about identifying where the leak is? The head was replaced by the previous owner with a head from a 2001 Cherokee (claims they are less susceptible to cracks; he is a jeep mechanic). Is pulling the head my only option here? Thanks.

^^ yep, 2000 &2001 used the same head with a design flaw....I think a pressure test will be the next step...just curious, how does your oil look? You might want to get an oil analysis--blackstone-labs or another oil analysis company. Testing the oil will give a clue if it's worth fixing. ...and if it were me I wouldn't use the previous owner for a mechanic
