Default Blinkers, hazards and brake lights out?

My 95 xjs blinkers, hazard, and brake lights just went out. No fuses are blown. I've check on other forums, and they say it could be the turn signal relay? I'm newer to this, so where exactly under the dash is this switch, and could this even be the problem? Thanks!

Check back at the ask question thread. I might be right or someone else might know in the morning.

Sure sounds like a fuse.

One fuse would not control all that .

It's a flasher relay. Should be in the fuse box left of your brake pedal. It's either a round or square fuse about the size of a quarter. Mine was doing the same thing and the $6 relay fixed all of them.

I've got two fuse boxes, one under the hood and one under the dash. All fuses are good. And thanks! I'll be sure to check the relay out today.

Update: I got the part, it's round and silver with two prongs. I can't seem to find the place where it plugs into though. I don't think it's actually on the fuse box, although there's a two prong outlet on it. Ugh.

Default band-aid fix

I've been dealing with this on my 96. I changed the relay, changed the little round thermal relay, blinker switch, even got another ignition switch to see if that fixed it. Chased wiggled, wires. Nothing. Finally, I ran a fusable link from the fuse spot #8 to the pink wire on the brake switch. Everything is now working, but I would prefer a permanent fix, because now the light by the key switch stays on, so I just unplugged it. This is my worst grimlin yet.
