I have a semi serious problem. Yesterday i discovered while driving i had absolutely no signal lights (blinkers). I have Hazard lights available to me, but not any working blinkers. I got home shortly after getting back from the auto parts store and tore into the rear lights to find the lights for the blinkers are perfectly fine and weren't blown. There wasn't anything wrong with the fuse either and I'm really stumped on what it could be. I hope and pray its not wiring either. Any help would be Great Help!!

Do you mean the turn signal light flasher inside the dash panel? If so i havent checked into that just yet, i can tear into the dash soon if that is what you are suggesting.

The turn signal flasher should be real easy to change, check on the under dash fuse panel, I think the turn signals would probably still light up but not flash if this is the problem.

I have already checked the fuse panel underneath the glove box fuse panel. Unless im missing another fuse box, i also checked the one under the hod as well. The fuse that controls the blinker (12 red) wasnt blown either.

It's the one that looks like this.
I tried to put a picture of it but it would take.
Anyway, go to the auto zone web site and type i a search for "Turn signal flasher" and you can see what yous would look like when you put the year of your jeep.
Hope this helps.

Turns out it wasnt any of the bilinker flasher module, nor the fuses, nor the wiring but ended up being the whole turn signal assembly. Bummer, but i don't have to use hand signals anymore.

I apologize about my last posting in saying that my problem was fixed. Alright, My problem continues...I just replaced the whole turn signal switch assembly and reconnected the Harness and I still Don't have turn signal lights. I have exhausted all my options, i mean it wasn't; fuses, bulbs, turn signal flasher modules, or a new turn signal switch replacement. I would now come to think it could be a short in the wiring system now. I really don't know where else to go for answers, I'd rather not pay anyone to do the work on my Jeep either. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Does anyone else have the same problem? Any help would be Great help.

Does anyone have any possible solution? I'm thinking it could be a short in the electrical system, but I'm not for certain. I definitely don't like messing with the electrical but i will do it when i need to.

I share your frustration !!!! I have the same problem (ie a very cold arm this time of year!) I have followed thread all over this forum but still no closer to fixing my problem either. My problems are compounded by the fact I have a European build of 1993 xj and I cant even identify the flasher unit on my Jeep !! It certainly isnt any of the ones listed on the autozone website. If you do find out how to fix this Please please please let us all know how you did it and I will do likewise (just in case it has any relevance to your situation).
Can you tell us what year/ model you have?
Good luck

Bunsen X, i can definitely let you know about any progress i make on my Jeep. I will be attacking it more on the weekend. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited four door 4X4.
Ok my 01 xj limited has been doing this off and on for months now.. ive changed the switch arm and all fuses are good.. now my friend has a grand cherokee and took it to a dealership he got do fed up..they told him that the bulbs listed at autopart stores are actually wrong for the xj and the grand..so 100$ worth of mopar bulbs and 200$ labor and he has perfect blinkers.. gonna try this weekend and change all my bulbs out...ouch!!! Ill letcha know what happens..
