theres no reason you cant.... if you use regular clear coat, it will give it a nice sheen, and make it more resistant to tearing....it just wont peel off as easily. youll have to chip it off.
if you want a gloss look from PD, but also want to be able to remove it, plastidip makes a "glossifier" spray that will give it a shiny look but is just as easy to remove.
