Default biggest tire with trimming on 3" lift?

I bought this 1998 cherokee that came with a 3"rc lift. I am more of a mudder than a climber and with mudding the bigger the tires the better. I know all about building/gearing the rears for bigger tires and all and I've gone over every lift/big tire/ small lift big tire threads i could find and nothing has answered this question. With a 3" lift and probably a lot of trimming, what is the biggest lift i could fit on a cherokee? I'm trying to avoid anymore lift because thats just more money and I'm cheap lol. I'd love to lift it later for 38s but I'm not sure when that would be.

I would say 34.10.50.15 swamper LTB's would be perfect with a good amount of trimming......

I have 33's with the rears cut and folded and no trimming up front (as of yet) im sure i could go just a little bit bigger if i did trim the front's.......

Between trimming and lift back space is the second biggest thing to look at for what tire you can clear..

There was a guy here on the forum awhile back that had pictures posted of an XJ on 37s with a 3 inch lift. Wasn't much left of the fenders but he made those tires fit. He even had pics of himself going highway speed in it.

its cause there are so many people here that have the same questions and i would go with a 33 but that is just me i mean you can do a 35 with lots of trimming but it could get ugly fast

don't worry about it, it works out better if 2 people can get their answers in 1 thread you know. i was just saying it because almost every thread i've started someone else has stepped in and side tracked people lol. I'm hoping that i can get answers from that white xj.
