Default Big Brake problem, HELP

So my 96 xj Is locking the left caliper, like Im aplying the brake always. It started doing it after I remove the pads to paint the caliper. I have bleed the lines 3 times, took pads out to clean the rubber on the piston and nothing. It work fine after everything for like 10 miles and then it start again to apply presure on the left side on itself. One think that worth mentioning is that I put some quiet brake on the back of the pads. I don't know if it got something to do but, to clear all possible threads. Help people help

New Caliper or Old?

New, then the puck is not returning to a neutral position. It should be under warranty but you painted it so no idea if they take it back.

Old. then when you pushed the puck back into the bore to remove it you went past the old wear spot where the puck was "USED" too. It had worn a nice spot in the bore. Now it won't return to that spot. Common problem and why most mechanics suggest replacing them when ever you do a bake job. Nice thing is they are not that expensive. Paid $21 CDN each for mine from a jobber. That was about $18 US then.
One thing you MUST do is replace them as a pair. Never just replace one. It's just too dangerous to risk you life for $20.

Sorry old Canadian slang Puck Piston Same thing. I take it it's an old caliper.
There are rebuild kits but seriously your only going to save about $10.
It's not a job for a first timer. Your life depends on doing it right.
And as the rebuilt from a jobber, it will have been glass beaded so you'll have a nice clean surface on which to apply that pretty paint.

Did you balance the pistons before you put the caliper back in? Press both pistons on the caliper all the way down/out before you reinstall them on the rotor and then pump the brake. They should paralell and clamp on the rotor simultaneously.
