beware aftermarket valve covers from quad

just thought id let people know if your planning on buying the aftermark valve covers from quadratec be careful when installing them the metal is pretty cheap. Well installing a corner broke right off so im out 100$. Just so u know!

Junk parts PMOff. Chinese junk in particular. I'm sick to death of their crap. I picked up a bunch of 5/16" lag bolts to install barn door hinges - big swing hinges. I had my then 11 year old son twist them down...he broke four in row. I can understand it if I was reefing on them but this is a boy. And, believe it or not, he was useing a SPEED WRENCH, not a rachet. Junk junk junk. The chinese are a plague.

I talked to a online agent and he said call so I'll be doing it tomorrow. But unless they send me a free one it won't be worth it for me cuz they charged 70$ to ship it here

I bought one a while back, I think it's pretty cool, I'm trying to figure out how you broke a corner, did you start torx at one end? Mine laid flat before I even started, I thought the quality was pretty good, I did not like the oil filler cap supplied so I got another one.
