My 95 jeep got hit now the insurance co. wants to total it. They gave me a list of other jeeps for sale in the area but they are all autos, mine was a 5 speed. I've narrowed it down to either another 95 or an 97. both have lower miles on them than mine. but at the same time I know mine was kept up very well. So any thoughts on the different years and auto vs. stick ?
Thanks
Thanks
Actually, only 5% of Cherokee's came with a stick. If you were able to buy your totaled jeep back from the insurance Co., the 95 might be the better option. You might have a parts Jeep.

The jeep is totaly fixable the body shop said there was no damage to the frame they are gouging the insurance co. They want $3,800 to replace the bumper grill and a few other parts. I found all the parts I need for under $300.00 so I'm going to try and keep it. I know i have no rusty bolts or nuts anywhere on the jeep ( even the rear shock mounts )

I spoke to the insurance Co. adjuster and they are going to let me keep my jeep and more than enough money to fix it, and get a bunch of goodies for it. ( I guess thats the good part about used Cherokee's costing so much around here )
