Default Best wiper blades

Ok, since we all like to argue...I mean DISCUSS what products are better than others, I thought I'd open another thread that will create a pissing contest.

Its getting later in the year, winter and the snowy season is right around the corner, if it hasn't already arrived for some.

If you need to get it done, now would be a good time to consider swapping windshield wiper blades before it gets really cold and your fingers go numb swapping them.

So what do you all perfer?

Mine are pretty weak, dry rotted and need to be replaced. Any prefrences? I think the last time I bought any they were the Bosch brand for my F150, and they served me well.

Hopefully this won't get too many feathers ruffled.

I just use the generic Ford Motor craft blades at the dealership I work at, no complaints about them.

I got a set of the RainX ones.
Yeah very expensive but I'm never going back. I even use their washer fluid now and have gifted new blades and fluid to my wife and father.
My brother has no idea what his Christmas present is gonna be!

I've also used to use a fluid I got at Wal Mart called No Touch. You sprayed it on even if it was raining and it was like a miracle! I can SEE!
Guess what? They stopped carrying it and the only place I can find it wants $10 a can. They hit my threshold.

I like the frameless michelin radius blades at wally world. They're only ~$12 apiece.

I just take some off the rack at work, problem is we sell the really crappy Amco ones, so far in 9 months I've gone through 3 sets.

PIAA Super Silicons are the best, for about 5 months of use. Than the coating is gone and you get alot of chatter.

RainX are amazing and last about a year, than they go downhill.

My vote goes to rainx unless you dont mind replacing every six months.

living on the olympic pennisula where it never rains,,, only 1.5in" yesterday, i use the rain x. they work great for about a year, then need to be replaced. i also use there glass cleaner paste. it takes off any buildup over the course of driving, and keeps the glass smooth.

It just dawned on me...the last ones I replaced were for my F150, and I said to myself, "You know, I have 99% full field of view with just one perfect wiper, do I really need to shell out cash for two?"

The Ford is huge, and I could see fine with one good, one crappy wiper.

It still makes me laugh. But the truck cost me $600 and is a "spare" truck, used as a backup.

The XJ will get two wipers, not just one.

I think the Bosch wipers I bough back then ended up costing about $15 or so, and I did only get the one.

I've been thinking about using the RainX blades, but aren't they a bit pricy compared to others? $40 seems a bit steep, but sometimes you do get what you pay for.
