Best ways to increase horse power?
You build HP by focusing on what is holding it back. Not by Simply adding expensive racing parts. Stay focused on what is the limiting factor at the present. And your first step is to get her breathing !
Start with an Cold Air intake and K&N Air filter ! Then a Free flowing exhaust system and you will have a SeatOfYourPants difference...
Then you can start thinking about things like Camshafts, Head Porting, Performance Ignition etc..

I have a 1990 Jeep 4.0 and Some guy Offered me a 1992 Jeep thats being parted out and I need help! I could take the Injectors and the ECU for more HP right? I heard the Injectors change size? Anything else I should take from the 92 motor? EMAIL ME I NEED HELP
I've found that a good header and full exhaust replacement is good way to start. Three-inch exhaust is overkill for the 4.0. 2.5" will work just fine. A cold air intake and a bored throttle body will also help with horsepower and supposedly gas mileage. The throttle body spacer won't do anything. Camshaft and valve spring upgrades always make a difference.
Start out with the easy stuff and work your way up. Forced induction and engine swaps are time consuming, costly, and a major pain in the ***. Work with what you've got at first and then decide later if you want to get hard core about it.

Cold air intake. i did it and i can feel the difference. and i diddnt even use a velocity thing. so i guess it doesnt make it "cold" but i dont want my xj looking gay with a cone sticking out. unless someone has found a way to hide it. then i would love to know what it is.
