Default Best way to cut and roll fenders

I recently put 33s on my 2000 xj and need to cut and roll the front fenders. I was wondering if any one new a good way to do it. I dont want to ruin a set of fenders and they look like **** lol. If you got inputor know a good way to do it let me know.

Seems I read an article in Jp mag where they did that. Although they didn't go into detail, they did say they made "numerous pie shaped cuts". I would think, with the wide end at the fender.

angle grinder and lots Beer, that way it don't hurt so much after the 1st cut. checkout my build thread, with more pics of the fender chop mod, havn't seen anyone ever roll the front fenders, except for the inner flange, just use lots of tape, so your paint don't chip, cleanup the edges and paint to protect

On the front you can just cut up, i cut to my pin striping. On the rear u cut slits and bend in ward. or you can just cut and then weld up the two skins togeather for a cleaner look. But since i use mine for the trails i dont mind looking a lil beat up from just bending it.

A couple of points that may be obvious, but thought I'd throw out there anyway.

On the rear I cut this lip off first so when I folded, it would lay in flatter.

Also on the rear, I cut in between the spot welds. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I figured I'd stay away from them to be safe.

And in the front, I cut the lip off, but left enough so there was still some strength in the fender. I used a 4" grinder with cut-off wheels.
