currently rite now i got a 3in rustys lift with 31's and i was wondering what the best way to get an 8 in lift. i currently have no job cause i got laid off. but i can slowly start gettin parts depending on what they cost. i would like a 8in lift with 35's. i put a picture of what my jeep currently looks like with out the mud and different front tires

Why do you want 8 inches of lift? Honestly, I'd be good with 3", maybe even 4.5".

Budget and 8" lift are oxymorons. Anywhere past 4-4.5" you will definitely need a sye and driveshaft. You will also need to replace pretty much every suspension component, brake lines, etc. Then you have the 35's. Stronger rearend (depending on which one you have), gears, alloy shafts, and the list goes on and on. If you are interested in doing something on the cheap, why not do smaller things like a homemade snorkel or something like that. Trying to do an 8" lift for cheap and have it be safe to drive/durable/worth all the time and effort is going to be really hard if not impossible. Besides, center of gravity is important too. 8" is too much either way IMO.

hes right theres nothing budget about 8 inch lift and 35s your talking gears sye longarms tons of upgrades and depending on what axles youi have they will probably alsobe needing some upgrading sorry to burst ur bubble but if you bumpstop the front and rear and do some trimming you could fit 33s on with ur 3 inch lift good luck with whatever it is that u do

you can do 35's with a 6 in lift. thats what i have on a rough country lift and i love it. rough country is going to be your best "budget lift" for what you are trying to do. 8" isnt going to get you any more ground clearance anyway.

If you do go with an 8" lift take advantage of it and put 38's on it or something but when you do that you will have to definitely upgrade the axles. that is an expedition in the background and i am taller than it is.
