"best track bar is to eliminate death wobble."

Won't do squat if the problem is the control arms or ________________.

Get your front end off the ground and check your ball joints, front u joints, tie rods, upper and lower control arms and track bar. A pry bar bar of good length and a second hand cranking on the steering wheel can show a ton of worn out parts.

I have a JKS adjustable track bar. No problems with it, just make SURE you have the ends tightened down properly.

I love my iron rock offroad with double shear bracket. Torque those bolts to spec/super tight

so the jks adjustable is ok for a cherokee with stock suspension. im not lifting my jeep at all. just want to eliminate the death wobble. ive heard kevins off road is the best track bar but that kit he sells is like $367. im not gonna pay that much. i will probably get the jks one.im guessing its gonna be ok to use the stock bracket? or should i upgrade?

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'll be at 2.5" lift and need a track bar soon. I want to upgrade, but options are sparse for under 3" of lift.

I looked at the JKS, I like it, I'd rather have double shear though. Plus I've seen people saying that smaller lifts (or in your case NO lift) have problems with the track bar hitting their diff cover. Even from just bumps on the street. It says something about it on JKS's site.

If its stock, throw a stock replacement track bar under it, that's all you need. Most good adjustable track bars are probably going to be too long for a stock Jeep.

Mine is rusted beyond recognition, and the bolt is all but disintegrated.
What is the best way to approach this replacement?

Do I need a new bracket also?
Where can I get that? There are no junkyards in my area.

Just make sure to check your mileage on whatever bracket you get. Gotta keep it under 125k man.

You might wanna take it to a good front-end shop. Not to be a smart-a$$, but look at how your front shock replacement went, and how much more rust there is here.

yup, I agree also, I ended up getting one for mine, not lifted, nothing, daily driver. Moog Track bar was awesome, if you order it from advanced auto, you can go online, use a few coupons, and get it for firt cheap, I think i got mine for like $65 total, then just said I'd pick it up in store. bam, $65 moog track bar. lol
