I keep getting the p0700 code no other codes along with it. I've replaced the tcm I've had a service done on the tranny. Code keeps coming back.. usually go for a ride sometimes short sometimes long. Park shut it off for about about 20 mins and start driving home and code pops on.. its not always the same routine but id say 75% of the time it's how it Happens.. ive bought the ebay solenoids but have not yet installed them. I recently discovered I had a burnt relay for my blower motor and part of my register plug.. ive since replaced all the bad wiring and bad relay. I noticed on my haynes manual that the lock up solenoid is part of that relay.sometimes it dont like to go into 4th gear or lockup? And sometimes it has a long shift? Do you guys think it could be my solonoids. To be honest this code is driving me crazy.. thx for reading this and any advise is much appreciated..
Some Trans wiring pics. Check ohms on each solenoid, and power each up. They make sounds if working....
where is that connector is it the one comes up in between heater hose and engine area. ?? I plan on testing my old ones but I will prob go ahead and swap em out.. do u think my issue lies in the solenoids?
Where is FSM?? I know I can prob test em from the tcm connector but I'm not really a electrical kind of guy lol.. whats this pressure test??? Thx for all your advise
Factory service manuals are available free on the i'net. There are test ports on the side of the Trans. Can see how much force is made in each gear. Way of diagnosing non solenoid issues. Not a hard process.
