Default Best quality u joints?

Hey guys, both front u joints at the steering knuckle (did I say that right?) are shot. I need to put new ones one right away, the question I have is about quality. What are the best quality.....I was thinking Napa but not sure. Are they all the same?

The cost on some of them are dirt cheap but I want something that I know is tough........If it's possible I want American made.

So far I see that some are made by AC Delco, Fed Mog, and Duralast from Auto Zone.

Anybody have a bad experience with certain brands. I don't mind spending the money, I just want quality parts.

Mike

I'd stay away from most auto parts store brands. Spicer would polly be the best way to go. I blew up a CarQuest Ultra strength(or whatever its called). Only took 3 wheel trips with a front locker to pop it.

The cheap u-joints are made out of "pot metal", poor quality, made of mixed metal, basically junk. But the factory axle shafts are also made of pot metal,... oh well,... I just go to the junkyard, pull and shaft, and if the u-joint is in decent condition, I roll with that. I dont swap it out with a new ujoint, if it blows, 30mins tops and I'll have the shaft replaced.
