but there must a reason its being mandated?

 

I have 1 mom and pop store a few miles from my house that sells 100% gas and doesn't watter it down or whatever crooked gas stations do. I get around 20 in my 97 Cherokee and 18 out of my 05 Z71 with a lot of engine mods. Nowhere else in the Oklahoma City metro do I get that kind of mileage out of either vehicle

 

Gasoline is highly regulated by the Fed and frequently tested at the refinery level. Most experts say "by from stations that sell name brand gas and do a lot of business"..... better chance that storage tanks are re-filled frequently, less chance of buying stale gas.
