Default belt noise

how tight should the serpentine belt be, and if radiator fluid spills on the belt could that cause it to spill?

Needs to be tight, only like 1/2" of torsional flex or so. And yea, fluid can cause some slip, but of you run it for a bit and/or wipe belt and pulleys (not recommended while running..) you should be good. Know how to adjust belt? Assuming its in ok condition..
