Bedlining my Jeep
So, I have decided to just go with the idea of bedlining my entire Jeep. Practical, I have the stuff, and fairly easy. My question is simply does anyone have and suggestions to make it an easier job? I know prep work is the key. Putting time into prepping is the most important to get a nice clean job.
I am curious on if I should keep my roller in the same directins, and would a primer be needed for an entire paint.

dont use herculiner. thats the best advice anyone can give you, it will fade / dryout and crack, plus its ugly and chunky.
do all the hard to reach areas first, the direction you roll it helps, expecially in the later coats, the good news is with a roller you can touch up anything you mess up, as long as you get to it still wet.
Monstaliner would be your best bet for the outside, as its the best diy liner, comes in a bunch of different colors, wont dryout or fade, because its 100% uv perminant and stable.

Thanks Blacksmith. Yeah, my buddy herculined the inside of his Wrangler, and it worked good for that, but I'm not interested in using Herculiner. lol. I got a gallon of my bed liner I am using, and going to see how far that goes..

I had mine sprayed. So I don't know what to tell you about the roll on stuff. On prepping it, I sanded all the paint off and roughed up the metal surface so the bedliner had something to hold on too. Its held up pretty good since 2006. I used a rhino liner called Eagle. Good luck and post some pictures.

Thanks for the advice and pics, I'll get some up in the next few days. She's like an olive drab color now, so we will make her black. Thanks again.
