I'm having same problem. Not interior lights, could be shifter (sometimes i need to push or pull the shifter in park and sometimes neutral to get it to start.) hood light already unplugged, gonna test everything I can tomorrow.

Here's some NSS stuff. Mine, I think I can just adjust since if I just pull the shifter back a little it works, both in park or neutral.

Actually that one is new on me. Didn't know it could drain the battery. Anyway, "shifter jigglen", (no start's), and reverse light yea.
X2 on checking the hood & glove box lights. I didn't watch the vid, but Bota Bings logic makes sense to me.

have not found the problem with mine but it is on the interior light /radio circuit so far i pulled that fuse and no problem since. mine has nothing to do with the park switch being a 5 speed you guys might want to look into it just being light problems and maybe not that sensor . just an idea. will update where mine is going wrong when i have time to figure it out. will be starting on the switch for the rear overhead(trunk area) that switch is broken in mine got a feeling thats where i will find something
