badge removal
alright so I want to take off the Jeep and cherokee and 4.0L and whatever other badges are on my 2000 xj. whats the best way to do it, heat gun? I already took off the side straps with a heat gun, are the badges on with the 2 sided tape too, like the side straps? im gonna guess the paint looks normal under the badges too?

I have included a link below for decal removal, works good on the left over adhesive from the side moldings. If your badges are the actual raised lettering then I have had had quite a bit of success with a plastic blade similar to the bondo spreaders. In a pinch (at a junk yard) I have had very impressive success with a credit card. Any other adhesive can be removed by BUG and TAR remover. It comes in a spray can and smells a little like diesel fuel. I found it at walmart the only down side is that it leaves an oilly film on the surface but it is very easily cleaned off.
