solder and heat shrink..

or go doorless

I have all power options and have removable doors. The kick plate comes off and exposes disconnects for all door wires.. I removed the boot from door to door jam, cut out the accordion section, then reinstalled the rubber grommets so the sheet metal wouldnt cut the wire when rubbing.. added (wrapped) elec tape around the wires for good measure. I also extended the wires to the top of the kick plate and cut a section of the kick plate out for access. Now I can remove the doors.. w/o dismantling inside the jeep.

Im away from my computer now and have pics of what NOT to do.. I've been meaning to do a write up but havent had the time..

PM me to remind me and I'll get you my pics

Also.. I have bad switches in both doors that only work sometimes.. maybe thats your problem?

good luck
