I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and I wanna know how to tell if I have a bad wheel hub

You can jack the front of the jeep up and grab the tire at the 12 and 6 and see if it rocks back and forth.

Also if you hear a metallic clicking sound and a slight grinding feeling in the gas pedal when you get above 30mph they are shot. I just changed mine and that was the symptoms I was having. Now it's smooth as butter and back to normal.

The hub isn't bad, we think we have found the source of the noise, it may have been a lose shock bolt
