bad shake
i have a 91 xj and the fornt passenger tire wobbles and the shakes at 60 mph but does not do it untill i get to 60 and shakes alittle after. i have replaced the hub and axle and did not fix the problem and i also changed rims and tires. im thinking that it might be the balljoints or control arm bushing but do not want to put any more money in to it and not fix the porblem. please help.

Get under there with a pry bar and see what you can move. That will help to determine which component is bad. Throwing money at the problem without fixing it sux and a little investigation on your part will show you where to throw that money for the best results.

Do what blue, our walking chilton's MANual, said. Jack it up and put the front axle on stands. Grab the tire at 12 oclock with both hands and put one foot on the bottom of the tire at 6 oclock. Push and pull at the same time as hard as you can and keep trying to hear a knock or clunk. That's the ball joints going. SOMETIMES the ball joints go but do not clunk (my situation).
You might want to check the steering tie rod at that end as well. To do this, have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth while you sit under there and watch the joints for plays (tires on ground). You can unbolt one control arm at a time to inspect it if you want. You'll know if the bushing is bad or not. A lightly cracked up bushing is still ok but if it's heavily cracked and torn, replace it. An alignment check would be wise too. You can do this with a tape measure, can of paint, and a flat head screwdriver.
