i was working on my back seat in my xj today lost my balance and fell against the back of my driverside seat...
and it didnt stop till it hit the steering wheel.
it was completely broken. so i have never replace a seat before does anyone have any pictures and/or instructions on how to do itno clue how lol

Its the easiest thing you'll ever do. Its just 4 nuts (one at each corner of the seat bracket). I'm thinking 13mm. Take them off and lift the seat out. If you have power seats the you'll have to unplug the harness from the bottom of the seat first. No big deal.

it truely was the easiest thing i have ever done to my jeep lol. it took me about 6 min to take the old one out and put in the new one. took me half anhour to vacume and shampoo the jy seat though haha it was pretty nasty

Lose your balance? Or get knocked over by a huge linebacker? I can't picture how in the hell what you described could have happened.
