Bad fuel pump???

I was replacing my oil filter and drained some tranny fluid so I had to turn my jeep on and off. I finished and was going to leave when I turn on the acc. and I don't hear my fuel pump engage, and now won't start......

I was wondering if I should do the hard work of swapping the pump or maybe it be the tps????

If this sounds like for sure the pump, any write-ups for a 94 cherokee 4.0????

Any input or ideas are greatly appreciated......

I thought mine was out and just pulled mine out and turned my key on and didn't hear anything put a new on on still nothing.... went to auto zone got a new relay and it worked. So I returned the new one and kept my old one.
Note: I did not put the new one back in the tank till I tested to see if it was the relay or not.... If the new one smells like gas they will not return the pump
