I have a 99 jeep xj 4wd 4.0 with a 6.5" lift and 33" pc all terrains. I am wondering the symptoms of having a bad flexplate or even the u-joints. There is a really bad throttle induced squeaking coming from the trans region. Any advice so i can get this fixed???? Much appreciated.

 

diagnosing sounds over the internet is always fun. flexplates that are cracked will make a noise like an engine knock, and u joints will cause vibes not squeaks.
