So just doing the engine mounts with Ironman's poly units should be enough, then just a new OE rubber trans mount?
Post install update....
So I finally got all the work done to my XJ.
I installed new rear leafs (supposed to be 1" lift, but looks like 2 to 3" lift.....guess my original leafs were THAT shot), new front coils, new Tokico TrekMaster shocks all around, Ironman poly motor mounts, new Rough Country OE style steering stabilizer (death wobble is GONE!), new leaf spring busings, new coil spring isolators, new oil filter housing seal (found a small leak), new radiator (not sure how mine broke while on the lift.....
), and a new fan pulley.
Overall, I'm very happy with the results. Only item I am a little confused about are the engine mounts. I had poly mounts in my last XJ and while they stiffened things up alot, I never got the massive vibrations that I am getting from these mounts. I expected some harsher driving, but this is almost a night and day difference. Could the mechanic have installed them wrong? The look properly installed.
All I have left to do now are some better wheels (2 of my stock sport wheels have bends....in steel wheels???) and tires, possibly a better air filter solution, and eventually sort out the pinched downpipe issue when adding in a better cat and bigger exhaust.
Thanks to all that provided info on parts, etc. Can't wait for the snow to get here now!!!

So after a week of driving, the new parts I installed seems to have woken up the Death Wobble monster!!
On Monday, I'm driving home from work on the highway. I hit a small bump (nothing that would be remotely alarming to even someone with low profile tires) and all of a sudden my front starts to shake violently. Thankfully I read up on DW, so knew to let off the gas and pray the shakes would stop.
So, I get under the Jeep last night (had 3 or 4 more DW instances the rest of the week) and all I can see needing some attention are the sway bar bushings and possibly the linkages with bushings. The other parts recommended to be checked all seem pretty good.
Could the new suspension and steering damper have brought out hidden DW issue due to other faulty parts still in the system?

UPDATE on the DW
Replaced a few items over the weekend and seem to have corrected the DW issue for good:
- New front tires
- New sway bar end links
- New poly sway bar bushings
- Front end alignment
Hopefully this lasts.
Thanks.

Thanks for following up on your post! I've been suspecting the DW monster is slowly but surely waking up and you've given some great info here.
