i have a 93 xj (my 1st jeep) and it came with out a back seat, im looking on craigs list and have found a few but my question is, can i get one out of a grand cherokee to fit in my "normal" cherokee? is there any difference in the size or how its installed? thank you very much.

any year XJ rear will fit right in. A GC rear swap is possible, but it's a decent amount of work. I have a write up on how to do, but it's waiting for approval from the mods. I can send it to you as pdf if you want. Just need an email.
