Yoday, I was installing the degree shims on the rear springs in prep for the TC w/SYE.
I went to break the lugs loose on the pass. tire when I noticed some endplay (in & out) in the axleshaft.
What is the acceptable range of endplay for a Chry 8.25?
I searched and could not come up with any parameters.
I would like to see if I "need" to worry about it or not.
In my mind, I think this endplay is a bit much. But I am not sure.
Anyone have numbers?

24hrs and not one reply and 6 pages back.
Hmmm... maybe I should have titled this post: "Cherokee won't start" or "What's this football-shaped thingy in front bumper?"
Maybe there would be 60 replies

i dont know numbers wise, but my axle shafts move just a little bit. MAYBE 1/16" either way. i know when the axle plates bent it would leak past the seal. that was kind of my gauge until i made thicker axle plates.
