Default axle shaft nut welded on????

so i got diff fluid leaking out of my front right side axle shaft , and i cant budge that damn nut to take the shaft out,so i can put a seal in. i sprayed and heated and repeated. even impact both ways and nothing. almost breaking my rachet breaker and flexing the solid breaker, using a pipe for more leverage. Anyone have any ideas on how to get that damn nut off. i sprayed it with deep creep,pb blaster and liquid wrench and its sitting over night.

What year? I just did my front u joints and bearings on both sides on my 01 and it took all of 2 hours. I used a big socket and a 10 lb hammer to bang the **** out of the nut and it came right off.
Then u just sld the shaft right out of the axle tube.
I don't even have the plastic covers on the end of my axles. They broke nothing leaks out there's an inner seal right at the differential housing. If that's leaking you might need to pull the carrier too.

I'm sorry if you already new all this I'm just trying to rap my head around your description

91 with axle disconnect, isnt there supposed to be fluid in that disconnect box? I can take the whole hub off,i had it off with axle attached when i did my ball joints and it wasnt leaking then. its gotta come off sooner or later,if i ever have to change the hub. already did driver hub cause it was bad.

ok I got everything apart and broke my breaker bar in the prosses, now how do I get the old seal out, does it come out thru the ujoint side or the disconnect box side? and it goes in the same way? the seal that advance auto says is right,is too small.

The disconnect side is where the seal comes out. Those seals are a pita so be prepared to mess at least one seal up. Also make sure you clean out the axle tube really good to avoid pushing rust and dirt in to the new seal during re assembly.

ok i got the old seal out,but dont know the size. i measured my shaft and came up with 1.632. so i dont know which would work, much less installing it with some kind of home made gizmo.
