Default Axle Questions

this is my first post in a few months, between school and the farm and my other job I barely have time to sleep let alone spend all night on the computer. Well anyway I paid off my jeep now so I have plenty of money to spend on lift kits, tires, axles, etc. I am thinking about the Rusty's off road 6.5" Long Arm Kit, and some dana 60's. Has anyone stuffed a dana 60 under the front of their XJ. I can handle the rear but get a bit confused up front with the spring cups and everything. Does anyone have any words of wisdom or any ideas to share. I was also thinking about a HESCO 4.7L Stroker Kit and a 505 Performance 4.0 Turbo System, but that won't happen for a year or two unless I win the lottery. Well thanks for any ideas or shared knowledge.

What tire size you want to run? You want to upgrade your axles to handle the tire size and power. You could put any axle under a xj if you wanted to.

For the future power train he is looking to run, he will want a D60.

Also, the D44 in a Rubicon is basically a glorified D30.

yes but it would be way more fab work
and you can get some purity good aftermarket shafts to go in the 44
and you will have some clearance loss with the 60
