I have a 98 with the D35 in the rear and was wondering if this 8.25 would be a good upgrade, and would it be worth what he is asking?

its not a bad deal...however, he is selling a 27 spline one. the same size shafts run in a d35...also, he has welded the diff, that will suck if its your daily driver, and put more stress on the shafts as well. you already have a HP30 front. its decent for everything you get, but i'd hold off until you find a complete 29spline one. or go with a 8.8 from an explorer, or the xj 44 rearend. just my opinion
