Default AX-15 Problem

Over the past couple of months my xj (98) has developed a rattling noise that i'm almost positive is coming from the transmission. As soon I drive it a few miles and it gets warmed up, every time I accelerate through every gear, I get a rattling noise that sounds like a bearing in the trans. Always at around 1700ish rpm. its a manual ax-15 trans and so far one of the only things on this jeep I havent taken apart yet. Any ideas on what this might be? Know any threads with a similar topic? Just trying to get any advice before I tear into the wrong thing.

Thanks

My 95 eats ax-15s but I had a rattle that turned out to be my down pipe resting on the cross member up genst the transfer case broken hanger. I never fixed it when I did the header so it rattles a lil bit now not like it used to thou. But thts my 2 cents happy wrench bending
