Hey Jeep Experts,
I have a 95 Jeep Cherokee SE, 2WD, 4.0L, AX-15 that has had issues with the clutch on and off for a few months. The Clutch has been replaced. So have the Clutch Master & Slave Cylinder (I bought the hydraulics pre-bled, because as I have read, they are a pita to bleed.)
Scenario 1: I'll be getting ready to back out of my driveway, with the trans in Reverse with the clutch pedal to the floor and after a minute or so of sitting like this, it will start to back up & accelerate. To get it to stop, I either A. Stomp my foot on the brake, which makes it stall...Or I use the direct approach and just turn the key off. Then I have to pump the pedal to get it out of gear.
Scenario 2: I'll come up to a stop sign, or light...I'll shift it into first and sit for a few seconds...It just gets stuck in gear and starts to drag you into the street. I follow the same procedure to get it out of gear as Scenario 1.
The only thing I can think of that would make logical sense is that the Slave Cylinder is defective. As a side note, I can just be sitting with my foot resting on the pedal (Not pushing. Resting) and it will sink to the floor. But it returns back up, I don't have to pull it up.
I just want these issues with the tranny/clutch/clutch hydarulics over with so I can use it again, lollol

Thank you Andy! I guess I just needed someone to give me the push to replace the slave cyl. Im still ticked on how much I spent for a pre-bled system and it didn't work. I would call customer support and rip them a new one, but I'm to happy.
I didn't even eat breakfast...Gonna go have a slice of Chocolate Cream Pie as a reward to myself. Hahaha

I bought the one you bleed. He said if the new one works, bring back the pre-bled unit and they'll refund me the cash for it. Either way, I'm just happy my Jeep is on the road again driving how it should be.

Also told me that 99.9% of the time your better to buy it not bled because there is almost always something wrong with the pre-bled systems.
