Title says it all. Went over some tracks and all of a sudden the tranny is making a grinding noise. Sounds like metal on metal (obviously) and it's still goes through all the fears fine. Noise seems to get lower as if there's less friction in the higher gears. This is a 2wd vehicle so I'm kinda lost. I've owned 3 of these and blown one transmission, 2 rear ends, and one transfer case in another one I owned. It does however clunk very badly hear in there. This is only happening when in hear. If I rev it in park or neutral it's fine. If I'm coasting and throw it in neutral it goes away. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before its shredded to pieces and I'm on the side of the highway. Was wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue. Thanks in advance.
