A stock throttle body bored out to who knows what with the oem butterfly? Alot of air could pass in that case. Just throwing ideas out there.

Just finished putting in Ford 703 injectors. Vast improvement. No problems other than making sure the wire connectors are FULLY seated.
But sounds like there may be a missing o ring or some o rings were in the rail and not all removed before new installation.
Swap is not that hard. Recheck the basics.

Im thinking I've found the problem; a wire for the input on the TPS sensor is busted or something. The engine code tells me that the TPS sensor has low input so I'm thinking of tracing the wires.

First you have ripped gaskets now you tracing wires? Fix one problem first then move to the next thing is the issue still exists. Train wreck? Hell no this is full blown derailment!

How you even checked the TPS to make sure the voltage was set withing specs? I know in other vehicles you dont just slap the TPS on it you actually get the TPS on put a ohm meter on it and set it to a certain spec.

The TPS on the OP's XJ and on yours is non-adjustable. If it's a quality TPS, like a MOPAR TPS, it will be dead nuts on. If it's a ChiCom TPS from idiotzone it is going to be off spec. All new TPS installations should be double checked at idle and at WOT to see if they are within voltage specs.
