Are the 97 and up fans the same as the 96 and back?

 

hey man, you up early on a Sunday!....... i think they are the same, don't really know, sorry!....but, if you are replacing your fan, why not yank both the mechanical and crappy electric fans and replace with a dual 3300cfm electric setup, it'll be much better for your engine by taking the mechanical fan's weight and load off of the engine and the overall cooling system efficiency..... http://ffdynamics.com/cherokeeB.html
