Aux Fan Upgrade?

Aux Fan Upgrade?
I have heard that older Cherokees can upgrade the aux fan to the new style. Does anyone know if this is true. Is it an easy swap or a custom fit?

Just hook your aux fan to a switch so you can run it any time.My 96 fan works great on a switch.I went wheelin a few weeks ago and it was allmost 90 degrees out and I had to shut it off cause it was overcooling.Temp was 150ish.Make sure you keep an eye on the temp so it dont do that.
