aux fan has no power

My jeep starts to over heat and the aux fan never kicks on even with the ac on. I jumpered the fan to the battery and it works. I tested the relay and it works. Now, when the ac is on, jeep over temp, the 40 amp fuse inside the wheel well has no power across it. Is there another fuse somewhere?

Yup, I have read that link. Trying to follow it now. Although I am still confused as to why the relay clicks but there is no power to the 40 amp fuse. If I am reading the diagram correctly the fuse should have power at all times.

there is power across the 40amp fuse and across the relay. I am about to test continuity to the fan because when I ground one side of the ohm meter and test the connector I get .01 volts.......
