on my 98 when i put it on defrost my electrc fan kicks on about 2 seconds then kicks off for 2 seconds and keeps repeating. i know something aint right cause my 92 it stays on fulltime when i move it to defrost. so what could be causing this? a relay maybe?

either way. and i dont know if the fan will come on like it is suppose to when the temp goes up cause the temp guage stays at a little below 210 and wont go any higher but thats a good thing.

If your freon liquid is low it can produce the on /off cycle, also high freon press. (just my thoughts) as i dont own a 98 , and converted my stuff to OBA

Im 98% sure this is what it is. i have a 99 and it did the same so i got some freon stuff at checker and attatched it to the silver compressor line with the top on it and shot it in. the fan ran smoothly again and i also had cold air
