Auto Door locks suddenly stopped working

Auto Door locks suddenly stopped working
98 Cherokee 4.0 Factory Alarm system (Keep it in valet mode)
I went to unlock my jeep tonight and when I pressed the key fob, it did not make the chirp when it unlocks normally, however the interior lights light up like normal and vehicle starts and drives normally but I now have to unlock it manually. When I attempt to manipulate the locks with the door switch, you can hear a noise but the locks won't move. Any ideas what is going on?
