Anyone running a double din radio?
I am looking to upgrade from my stock radio in my xj. I really like the looks of a double din radio. Specifically this one
Is anyone running a double din radio in there xj? Will it fit?

I'm not running a double din radio but I couldn't resist the urge to say that is most likely the ugliest headunit I have ever laid eyes on. lol
With that said, it's been done quite a few times.
Here's a few pictures of it done. Half of them look like **** but there's some decent installs in there.

I don't really see the point in installing a Double Din HU that has absolutely no more features than a single din HU. Maybe if it was an all LCD touch screen or something. It would at least have to be capable of Navigation for me to make the effort to install it.

I install this one on my son's Jeep.
I have that unit on my S10 and love it, if you have navigation on your phone it will work with the radio by pressing the big dial ****.

Since he hasn't posted in 4 years, I'm kinda thinking you aren't got to get an answer.
And since the electronics world moves pretty quickly, is a recommendation for a 6 year old radio really worth anything?
Try Crutchfield.com for radios.
