Thanks in advance. I currently have Firestone Destination AT 30s with just a tiny bit of rub at full tilt. I can get 31s at a good price and am wondering if they'll fit. I honestly thoroughly confused at this point because some say yes and some say no.

I don't have pictures but did put 31's on a 2001 with a 2" lift and did get some significant rub at full lock. Put on some 1/4" spacers and it took care of it. This was with a 2" lift. No pics, sorry.

I don't think you will stuff 31" under the stock xj. It will rub over bumps (unless you bump stop the hell out of it) and def scrub on turns..usually requires 2.5 - 3" of lift to clear correctly
Good luck!

First pic is tire size 31 x 10.5 x 15, Before 3" Rough Country Lift. Tires rubbed real bad when making sharp turns.

Second pic is after lift installed, Rides much better and tires no longer rub...

Just get 235/75-15 and use your money for gas instead.

i have 31" guard dogs and a 3" lift, they rub when the suspension compresses while turning. You're not going to want to put 31's on stock suspension. You'll be miserable.

Yeah I told him that in another post he started about the same subject.

This guy is trying to get branded as an askhole.
