Anyone know anything about this check engine light diagnostic?
Auto Zone printed out the code and info for me. Looks emissions related? My concern is just that the issue will effect the performance of the jeep (01 XJ). What is the leak detection pump? Any info or pointers would be appreciated.
CODE: P1494
Definition: leak detection pump pressure switch condition
Explanation: detected the leak detection pump switch did not change after the solenoid was energized
Probable Cause: leak detected pump defective
open or shorted circuit condition
Solenoid defective
